When Daft punk stopped their career I decided to make a painting that was an ode to them. The painting at the same time questions our future now they have stopped. In their last video Epilogue, Daft punk let the spacemen who are themselves explode in the desert. I see this ending as a warning to our own future to come. The apocalyptic landscape where people have to wear spacesuits doesn’t stop them to surf and travel around the world. In memory of Daft punk.
